In a unique community partnership, Ivy Tech Community College has established the Business and Entrepreneurial Services Center at the Greencastle campus. The center is designed to train and support a new generation of entrepreneurs regardless of age or background. The center brings together a wide range of resources and includes space to help entrepreneurs get started with a full range of support. With the availability of fiber-to-the-home and fiber-to-the-business throughout much of the county, an entrepreneur can easily connect to global suppliers and customers.

Greencastle’s proximity to major markets presents several opportunities for food production and distribution. Central Indiana has a wide range of food and consumer product manufacturers. This opportunity is new to Greencastle and Putnam County and is currently being researched.
